The Tohoku Economic Federation (“TEF”) deeply recognizes that personal information provided by individuals is important information integral to the privacy of such individuals. Thus, when the TEF handles personal information, it will handle such information prudently in strict compliance with laws related to the protection of personal information.

Handling of Corporate information

1. Collection and Purpose of Use of Personal Information

The TEF will strictly restrict the use of all collected personal information to within the scope necessary for the operation of this forum.

2. Disclosure of Personal Information

The TEF will never disclose the personal information provided by an individual to any third party without the prior consent of the individual concerned. However, the TEF may consign the handling of personal information to a third party when this is necessitated. In that case, the TEF will select the consignee on the basis of their ability to manage personal information in a proper manner.

3. Management of Personal Information

To ensure the safe and proper handling of personal information, the TEF will take all necessary measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information and loss, destruction or other compromise of personal information.
